The Curious Case of the Copper Corpse

Well, today's the day! The new Flavia eBook short story, "The Curious Case of the Copper Corpse" is now available for download.

It's been - and is going to be - quite a month! With my memoir, "The Shoebox Bible" just republished in eBook format (it's been as scarce, and expensive, as hen's dentures for years), "The Dead In Their Vaulted Arches" making its first paperback appearance on December 31 (New Year's gifts, anyone?) and the all-new Flavia novel, "As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust" being published on January 6th, I've been copy-editing round the clock.

In addition, as well as being invited to be the Distinguished Speaker at the annual January Sherlock Holmes Dinner in New York City, I'll be meeting Flavia fans in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and a number of other literary events in Southern Ontario.

Phew!

Flavia is Top Pick

I'm excited to share the news that "As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust" has been chosen by LibraryReads as January's Top Pick.

Library Reads are chosen by librarians from across the US as the books they love best.

I'm told that this is the first time an author or a series has been twice chosen. Last year, The Dead In Their Vaulted Arches' was also picked.

What a Christmas gift!

Thank you, librarians!

And, oh yes.....thank you readers!
