She was born and raised in London before leaving the city to live closer to the land, breaking free from the office treadmill to dedicate herself to the creative path.

An interest in the universal power of creativity - word, sound and symbol throughout the ages - led her to research the subject for her first book 'The Sacred Word'. In 'Time Traveller' Catherine takes the reader on a poetic journey, dealing with themes which are both timeless and contemporary, in particular the cycles of life and our relationship with the land, highlighting ecological issues.
Catherine's first novel 'Radiant Brow - The Epic of Taliesin' is a tale rooted in Celtic myth and early British history. Begun in 1998, it had a profound effect on her life. Her latest novel 'The Salamander Stone', a contemporary supernatural mystery, has just been published.
