Reflections on a Book Launch Party

On Saturday, I hosted my first-ever book launch party, even though The Long Man’s Pillow is not my first book.

Why didn’t I do a launch event for my previous book? Just plain old shyness. I’m not a center-of-attention kind of gal. But I quickly realized the opportunity I had missed and I vowed that, if I was ever lucky enough to get into print again, I wouldn’t make the same mistake twice.
