Two Little Boys
A Rancher for Their Mom is the second book in my Rodeo Heroes series. Between book 1 and book 2, cancer showed up, disrupting my work schedule. My editors at Love Inspired were great and supported me through my sickness, rescheduling the dates of my books.
So as I worked on this book and got my mind back in gear, Todd and Wes burst into my life. They won me over, and I think they won my editor's heart, too. These two little cowboys turned out to be matchmakers and learned how be to real life cowboys. They also brought about a romance for their mom, April and Joel Kaye the rodeo rider.

A Ranch to Call Home
As a writer, there are some characters that grab you by the throat and don't let go. Well, my heroine in A RANCH TO CALL HOME was one of those characters. She appeared in another book and wanted to take over that book until I promised her her own book.
Well Captain Brenda Kaye didn't disappoint me. She was a women who knew her mind, but was haunted by things in her past that she never faced. And if you have a woman that strong, you need a equally strong hero. Caleb Jensen, a pick-up rider in the rodeo, is just such a man. He's not one of those 'I'm going to take over' men, but the guy everyone went to when things went wrong.
Both Caleb and Kaye have their emotional scars and physical scars, but as they fight though their pain, they learn to trust each other and trust that God is in control.

A New Adventure
I'm been a member of Goodreads for a while, but really haven't understood what a neat place this is to hang out. I think it's now going to be a place I visit often. It may take me a while to stumble around, but I have to thank Mandy Collins article in the January 2012 RWR for showing me how to understand and enjoy this site.
