I am a professional violinist, so your book "The Virtuoso" sounds interesting! I entered your giveaway. Have you ever read the book: " Beethoven's Hair?" You might enjoy this book! Marge Rose

Nice to meet you and thanks for getting in touch and entering my recent giveaway. I'm glad you like the premise of my novel.

Do you play in a chamber ensemble or an orchestra, or solo gigs?

The Virtuoso was read by Adelia Myslov, (the concert violinist who recorded the classical soundtrack that was written to accompany it), prior to the book's publication and I'm relieved to say she enjoyed it and commented to me that it was "very real".

The story behind our collaboration is on my blog: http://wp.me/p4F0sV-wT

As a violinist you may also be interested to know that the music score for the soundtrack is also available.

I hadn't heard about 'Beethoven's Hair' until you mentioned it, I'll definitely be checking it out!

I have been reading 'Conversations with Beethoven' by Sandord Friedman which I found brilliant!

I hope you'll consider giving The Virtuoso a go, here are all the reviews on rhapsodyinwords.com: http://wp.me/P4F0sV-Dw

If you do, I'd love to hear your thoughts...

Best wishes,

Rise of the Divine Feminine: Greek Goddess Archetypes in Contemporary Women (Part 3)

“Gods and goddesses are not what people think they are. Their names are terms with which we try to convey a certain experience, a state of consciousness.”
Frederick Lenz

This third and final post on the psychology of Greek mythology through the feminine lens is dedicated to the alchemical goddess, Aphrodite. I think we could all use a little more love in our lives right now…

Quotes by Virginia Burges (?)

“It struck me tonight how music mirrors life. Fleeting ephemeral moments, made up of beauty, sadness, joy, hope and despair. Melodies which are written in both major and minor keys. Flowing and fleeting. You can’t hold onto it, or keep it from changing. Our emotions possess the evanescence of a note.”
