Ever wonder how you'll ever get better at art when you have so little time? You don't want to make it a chore by simply "deciding" to draw for an hour a day no matter what.
The good thing is that you don't have to. Not all drawing should be done as drawing exercises. Some of your time drawing should be for fun - to explore new ideas without always judging yourself. This is type of freestyle drawing is perfect to do while you're involved in another activity.
For example, if you watch TV for an hour a night (and who doesn't?), then start sketching while your favorite program is on. This will allow you to focus your mind on something else while you're drawing, and as a result, some unexpected and cool ideas may come out subconsciously. It's a way to let some creativity flow without forcing it, and, it will give you more practice without taking up more time.
I hope that helps!
