Babel Con 2009
I will be attending BabelCon 2009 tomorrow as an author guest. Anyone in the Baton Rouge area who wants to hear about upcoming T-Press projects, the release of our newest title A Mage of None Magic (scheduled for publication on September 1), or just wants to talk to me about writing in general or Boundary's Fall in particular, I'll be at your disposal tomorrow.

Forge of Faith Update
It's nice to know that some people out there have read my books, and that they like them enough to ask about the next one.
Between familial obligations and the job that I need to stay alive, I don't have as much time for writing as I used to, but I have been making good progress on Forge of Faith in recent months. I am probably about 6 or so chapters away from having a rough draft. After that, it's lots of editing, some test reading, a lot more editing, probably some fights and yelling with my test readers, editing, and then we'll have a book to publish.
I am working as much as possible on the book, and I apologize for the delay. But I'd rather have you wait for a book we can all be proud of than rush something out just to say it's finished.

First Post
I was just thinking (admittedly, not for the first time) about making a serious commitment to blogging, if for no other reason than to allow me to claim a regular writing schedule again, when lo and behold, I click on my Goodreads page and see that they have incorporated blogs into the site.
With a little bit of self-discipline, I hope to make this site the hub of my renewed effort at writing. For the dozen of so people out there familiar with my writing, thanks for your patience. I hope to have more for you to read soon.
