Paddy Davitt is an award-winning chief soccer writer with more than 13 years experience covering professional soccer in the English Premier League and Championship.
Paddy has extensive knowledge of the game built up from working closely with managers, players and owners. He has also covered professional soccer in the USA, France, Austria and Italy.
His childhood passion for writing was sparked by reading fictional soccer stories of authors such as Brian Glanville and Michael Hardcastle.
Paddy grew up in the Midlands, UK, and is a lifelong Coventry City fan. He currently works for the UK-regional publishing group, Newsquest, where he is a Football Editor leading a team who cover Norwich City FC.

Massive apologies. Thought I had deactivated my Goodreads account earlier in the year as part of sub-contracting out the marketing of the book. Basically professional rivals where talent (ie. young footballers) is the commodity of choice and getting the best can dictate whether they stay in a job or not, given the cut-throat nature of professional football.
