Great Review
Just got a great review of my book, Pangaea: Transforming the Landscape from the fantastic poet M. Scott Craig.
Quoting below:
Mr. Armstrong has produced a savvy piece of work, relating the senses of man to the underlying earth. The world contains everything, hard and soft living, and his poetry does a very nice of job of mixing all the facets of the world into an intelligent web of ideas. Name a subject and it's probably mentioned with colorful description. He has strong input on how the body lives and evolves off the land, rather controlled and multi-dimensional. He maintains a strong sense of growth patterns. A bit of artwork is scattered through the work that creates a long-lasting image in favor of the playing words around them. And the titles stand out. Titles can alter perception, and his thought-out titles roll off the tongue and bring value to the work. The title piece is a favorite. A very insightful and non-delicate collection.Pangaea: Transforming the Landscape

El Paso open Mic
I had a lot of fun reading at the Percolator in El Paso hosted by the Barbed Wire series and hanging out with my bro and sister-in-law. Thanks to everyone who came out to support local writers.

Play in a Day
I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Play in a Day Festival put on by the Old Pueblo Playwrights group (of which I am a member). I directed a play called Multiple Choice. It was a fun experience.

Signings at Bookmans
My book signings at the Bookmans in Tucson (the Grant and the Speedway locations) went much better than I had hoped. I sold several copies and met some nice people.

Here is my Goodreads Author's Blog. I will be likely to rant and rave my random thoughts about books, poetry, plays, and all sorts of other things.
