Bruce got his start in cartooning by doodling on anything and everything in his house while growing up in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. “I especially liked drawing on this terrific piece of white cardboard that used to be packaged with my father’s freshly laundered shirts…to this day, that is the best drawing paper there will ever be”!!

Playing keyboards in rock bands while growing up and then professionally for many years, Bruce would always take time to doodle. “I used to draw the band members and customers while on break wherever we played…years later I started drawing fulltime as a caricature artist at the 1982 World’s Fair in Knoxville Tennessee."
