Cover reveal day for Path of Shadows!
The cover has arrived for PATH OF SHADOWS, the sixth book in the A Tale of Bone and Steel series.
Shawn King of STK Kreations continues the outstanding look of the series, building upon the first five books. Shawn has created each of the covers in the series and the continuity certainly helps to bring a cohesive appearance.
In PATH OF SHADOWS, we get to see Sanchere D’Alikar on the deck of a ship, preparing for battle as fire swirls around him. Foreshadowing action from the novel? Perhaps! Be ready to continue the adventure when Path of Shadows is released later this week.

COVER REVEAL DAY!
It is cover reveal day for DRAGONKILLER, the fifth book in the A Tale of Bone and Steel series. Once again the awesome artwork and layout on the novel was created by Shawn King of STK Kreations.
The pre-order is also up for ebook edition of DRAGONKILLER. Publication day is Tuesday, March 2 with the print edition following in the next couple of days.

Here is the cover art for Joiner of Bones, the fourth book in the A Tale of Bone and Steel epic fantasy series. The artwork is by the amazing Shawn King at STK Kreations. Shawn also produced the covers for the first three books in the series and is working on book five right now.

Between the Pages – August
My outdoor writing space is very inviting.
Where has the summer gone? The August edition of Between the Pages was sent to subscribers last week, and I am just getting around to posting about it here.
For those of you who are not subscribers, Between the Pages is the reader group’s monthly letter. In the Chatter section, I share news of what is happening with current books and series, event announcements, cover reveals, free giveaways, and behind-the-scenes peeks at what I am working on for new books. I also answer any group questions.
The Book Nook is the book review section. This month the book was The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter. Finally, the Back Page portion is where we talk about food or drink related items. This month I shared a favorite recipe for the summer grilling season. The most important thing to remember is that the Back Page was added because of suggestions from this group, making this as much about what the readers want to talk about as to what I find interesting.

Between the Pages – July
The July edition of Between the Pages was sent to subscribers this week on Wednesday.
For those of you who are not subscribers, Between the Pages is the reader group’s monthly letter. The added bonus this month were a couple of photos of our horses, including one of my daughter training her competition horse in dressage. I’m a father. I’m allowed to be proud.
