I started writing at the ripe old age of 9 for extra credit in the fourth grade. I was horrible in math and I wanted to anything I could to make up for that fact.

My first piece that was published in 1982, was a poem entitled "My Favorite Color is Pink". Since then, I have published countless numbers of articles, poems, short stories, self-help books, chapbooks, and blogs.

I've also been nominated as "One of the Best Poets of the 90's" and have received several editor's choice awards for my writing achievements in poetry.

I'm an avid reader, but I tend to read books that are out of the norm. I've been known to take "The Complete Works of Shakespeare" to the beach for a little light reading. I enjoy books of a spiritual nature, books about my ...more
