a new book project: HEADS!
I'm totally elated to announce that I'm working on a new book project for Da Capo. Heads: A Biography of Psychedelic America, slated for publication sometime in 2015, will be a history of the Deadhead continuum and very far beyond.
Between now and then, I'll be posting book notes here as I research my way through the hippie bibliography of my dreams. All comments & further reading suggestions appreciated. Other tidbits will likely show up on my Twitter account, @bourgwick. (I'll also be posting about non-hippie books, too, don't worry.)
There are several Dead lyrics I can think to quote by way of sign-off, but there'll be plenty of those for that later.
