New Sherlock Holmes pastiche

I have had the unmitigated gall to write a book about the Scottish Question. It's set in 1897.
To read the ebook in any format just join my mailing list before ebook publication date 21 July at

http://www.mikehoganbooks.co.uk/the-s...

and I'll send you the free book.

Of course, I'd love a review :).

postal woes

Mike Sherlock Holmes and Young Winston The Jubilee Plot by Mike Hogan

To the winners of my giveaway of Sherlock Holmes and the Jubilee Plot - apologies. The clerk in my local post office in Thailand put the stamps and airmail stickers on the return address side of the packages. They were posted airmail about three weeks ago, and they just arrived back at my house. Goodness knows where they have been.
I have repacked the books without return addresses and will post again tomorrow.

A Sherlock Holmes Story a Week

Starting March 15

I have set myself the challenge of writing at least ten 12,000 word stories featuring Holmes and Watson, one a week from March 15. They will be available on Kindle initially, then other ebook types and finally as paperback compilations.

The first story will be available free at Goodreads as a PDF download, and on my website as a Word docx: http://tinyurl.com/b3ucwwf

I’m calling the series Sherlock Holmes: Ghosthunter, but as Holmes put it in The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire:

“This Agency stands flat-footed upon the ground and there it must remain. The world is big enough for us. No ghost need apply.”

I’m not sure whether Holmes will uncover any actual ghosts, but I seriously doubt it.

The first group in the series are the following:

1. The Ratcliffe Oracle

2. The Impulsive Vampire

3. One Little Girl from School

4. The Skull of Kohada Koheiji

5. The Reckoning of Kit Marlowe

Covers will be designed by the talented Filipino designer Richard C Plaza. His ideas will be featured here as we go along.

Undershaw - Conan-Doyle's Home

The plan to save Undershaw, Arthur Conan-Doyle's home, is not just a Sherlockian project - although it is that; it is an attempt to save a wonderful building from rapacious developers. The house, left to fall apart by its Moriartian owners, can be saved, in the first instant at least, by a relatively small amount of money - they need less than 300 pounds in the next 5 days - they accept pledges of a pound or more. Come, book lovers, the game's afoot!
