Unwelcomed Characters

Spring-heeled Jack is an ass. He delighted in tormenting me for months while I wrote his tale, hiding behind doors, curtains, and just generally being a creep, scaring me every chance he got. So I hope he understands why I hesitate to invite him back while I write the next tale in this guy's saga, and why I choose to focus more an Alice/Abbott than Jack.
