Our book was written after Zoe has met Kharika in Nepal during aid trips there and I went there in 2009 to interview Kharika through an interpreter. After that, we jointly wrote it as Zoe had a greater Nepali experience & I had more writing experience.
We are pleased, and relieved, that everyone in the family we have written about survived the recent earthquake.
