I understand that I am chewing over a larger problem in the book and need to solve it before moving forward again. Sometimes I work on another story or write a poem, maybe a guest blog about living gluten free. The best solution for me is to do something mindless like cleaning my desk or something requiring total concentration like tennis. This frees the brain to operate without me (always a good idea). “I believe that forgiveness given prematurely is its own form of punishment. When the hand is offered before the heart says it's time, judgment lurks behind every smile.”
