New Release
I'm excited to announce that my new novel, The Lure of Water and Wood has been released.
This is my first foray into the Fantasy Genre and I'm very excited to share it with the world.
To celebrate, my epic novel is only 9.99 on kindle throughout the holidays.
And it's of course available in paperback as well.

Virtual World based on Sour Milk in Shep's Wool
Dear all,
I've created a virtual cafe based on one of the settings in Sour Milk in Sheep's Wool and set in Lund, Sweden, circa 1918.
This is a virtual place you can visit, walk around in and see and here how life was at the turn of the 20th century.
All you need is an Oculus Quest (best experience) or a an Altspace app on your computer. (A very nice experience, and free, but not as immersive.)
Please check my website for more information.

Getting internationally noticed.
It's always a bit of an anxious feeling when your book is released, waiting to see how it's received.
Sour Milk in Sheep's Wool has only been out for a little over a month, and it's already flying.
Not only has it gotten notice of Swedish American Museums, but it's been discussed on British Live Radio, I've been interviewed and written about in the Egyptian Literary Press, on a South African blog, and have had several online events already.
I'm very grateful and can't wait to see what the future holds for Sour Milk in Sheep's Wool.Sour Milk in Sheep's Wool

Early Press and Praise
Early Praise for Sour Milk in Sheep's Wool.
“A well written and interesting historic drama which paints a vivid picture of the challenges an unmarried young mother could face at the end of the 19th century. The way Helen Lundström Erwin depicts the life, struggles and meager pay of “statare” in rural Sweden makes you understand why so many opted for a more uncertain future across the Atlantic.”- Swedish American Museum, Chicago
“ A timely and poignant look into her own history, Lundström Erwin’s weaving of these women’s stories serves to remind us that we modern torchbearers of reproductive rights owe an insurmountable debt to the women who came before us. Women whose cages had no bars but were prisons none the less, whose consequences were often disastrous and often fatal. And while today we fight to hold on to the choices we have, we must always remember those who have none." - Women's Health Volunteer
“This moving tale of women living in the 19th century drew me into the world of Anette’s and Hanna’s experiences, which resonated with me on many levels. I was drawn into their world through the descriptive narrative woven by Helen Erwin.” - American Scandinavian Association D.C.
