The Richest Woman in the World - Book One was number two on the best-sellers list at Main Street News in Palm Beach for the week ending March 1, 2015. That was exciting news!

I want to thank Main Street News, and manager Dora Blanco, for their support!

I'm trying to finish final edits on book two of "The Richest Woman in the World" and haven't made time to list all of the books I have enjoyed in the past, so thought I would just share some information here.

We read everything in our household and our library spills over into every room. Life without books is impossible to imagine.

I enjoy the modern classics, and my favorite era in the 1920s and after...Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Thomas Wolfe. Those writers, I believe, gave us the golden era of literature and we have not risen that high since in America.

I also love bios of the Gilded Age giants such as Rockefeller, Carnegie...the people who truly built the nation's foundation whether one likes their tactics or not.

I especially like "The Midnight Cowboy" and think it is true genius. It captures a side of our country that is overlooked...the forgotten souls amongst us.

Have wonderful weekends. I hope you get to immerse yourselves in some good books.
