I live and work in Manchester, UK with my husband and samoyed husky, Loki,

I have, to date, two novels published with Amazon. All Things Eternal is set in 1897 West Virginia, and is a romantic adventure time travel novel, and The Open Doorway, an epic gritty romance spanning two centuries set against the American Civil War, and the Lincoln Assassination.

My third full length book is ongoing. ID is a horror supernatural novel set in the Scottish Highlands and deals with dark magic, psychological control, and spiritual redemption.

I started writing at about ten, and kind of developed from there. Creating my own comic books stories was something I did for ages as a kid, along with spending all my pocket money on Superman comics and Twix bars.

I read other books. As bizarre as it sounds, I often sit in the bath or someplace quiet and place myself in the characters I'm writing about or the situations where the block is. For some weird reason this seems to push my creativity forwards and I end up chattering away to myself as the plot unfolds. Yes...my husband thinks I'm nuts! Music is very important to me when I write. If I want to write dark stuff, I listen to say The Cure, Pornography. If I want to write something lighter, I'll listen to music that's more upbeat. If need to write emotional stuff, then I put on something that pulls the heart strings.(less)
