Thomas Melis è nato a Tortolì, in Sardegna, nel 1980. Ha studiato presso le Università di Firenze e Bologna concludendo il suo percorso accademico nell’anno 2008. Nella vita si è occupato di progettazione su fondi comunitari e consulenza aziendale. Ha scritto per diverse riviste on line, dedicandosi ad analisi di politica interna e degli scenari internazionali. Attualmente gestisce un’attività commerciale, lavora come copywriter, crea contenuti per aziende attive sul web e, dal 2017, collabora con il sito di critica letteraria MilanoNera. Nel 2014 ha pubblicato "A un passo dalla vita", opera d’esordio, seguito l’anno successivo dallo spin off "Platino blindato" e, nel 2018, da "Nessuno è intoccabile". Nel 2022, con il titolo "Milano.
