WOW!
I haven't been around on GR in a long time. Mostly because I feel it's more of a reader space. I mean, obviously, I'm a reader too, but it's actually none of my business what you think of my books or what you say in these review spaces. Of course, I appreciate every single review, but I believe reviews are for others readers. Not for me.
And since I've matured professionally, I think it's highly tacky and a conflict of interest for me, as an author, to rate another author's book anything less than 5 stars. If I don't like it, I'm not going to rate it. Ethics aren't about intent, they're about appearances too. No judgement to any authors who do, but for me, it's a no go.
But I absolutely love my readers to pieces, so I'm going to try to check in more often. My notifications from GR were going to my spam folder so I missed some connections from you guys and I can't apologize enough. I appreciate that you take the time to read me, to connect with me here and engage about these stories it has been my privilege to tell.
I love you guys!

Facebook Release Party For Labels #2
“You’re a woman who is comfortable in her own sexuality. That necessarily means you must be labeled, categorized and filed away for everyone’s safety.”
Rebecca “Bex” Foxworth likes that description of herself. It makes her sound strong, dangerous, and powerful—like she’s standing against some grand injustice by using her body as she sees fit. That’s how her friend Claire Howard sees her and if Claire has taught her anything, it’s that labels are defined by the people who wear them, and not the other way around.
But SLUT is more than a label to Bex: it’s her armor. It protects her from ever having to share her true self. The loop in her head tells her she’s innately flawed and wholly unworthy. Why else would her parents insist she go under the knife for a new nose, a new body, and plastic perfection?
That’s something Thornton Henry Edgeleaf would never understand. Thornton is perfect, in every way—handsome, worldly, passionate—with just one unforgivable flaw: he’s utterly sincere. It makes Bex want to run screaming, back into the familiar, indifferent arms of men who won’t fail to dismiss and mistreat her. But nothing’s as easy as it used to be…

Other Me Had A New Release
Return to Glory
In Glory, Kansas, the best bakery in three counties not only brings together ingredients for sweet treats, but is the place where—through the powerful mix of friendship, community and a well-stocked kitchen—a wounded hero can forge a forever kind of love.
Back in the hometown he left behind five years ago, Jack McConnell has returned battle-scarred and feeling like half a man. But Betsy Lewis only sees the hero who once saved her life and set her heart on fire. Now she's burning to save him in return. She'll use every trick she's got up her sleeve, from her generous natural assets to her talent for baking, to coax Jack out from the bottom of his whiskey bottle.
At first, Jack responds to Betsy like any red-blooded man would. He's always denied his attraction to the innocent girl he used to know, but he's returned to find Betsy's grown into a full-on woman with strength enough for both of them. Until Jack realizes the only way to conquer his demons and be worthy of the hero's mantle she's pinned to his shoulders is to save Betsy one last time—from himself.

AUTHORS AFTER DARK REGISTRATION GRAND PRIZE!
So with AAD 2013 around the corner, and so many people excited about the event (especially us, the authors!) we thought we would do something awesome to get one lucky winner to the event, while spreading the word about our sexy little books!
So the six of us, TJ, Amanda, Cara, Stella, Saranna and Eliza decided to do something awesome. Why not do a huge raffle with a freaking awesome prize? We thought Paid registration and a room free of charge to the winner was a freaking awesome prize, so we said why not? Let’s pool our resources and make this happen.
So from the 17-22nd of JUNE, readers will have the opportunity to win their way into AAD! For that time frame, each author will have ONE SPECIFIC BOOK, normally at 2.99 or higher at 99 cents. All you have to do, is BUY THE BOOKS. That’s it. This is how entries work:
Buy the book (s). Send your receipt/ conformation email to everversestella@gmail.com with the BIG HUGE GIVEAWAY ENTRY in the subject line.
Go to the AAD Website and fill in the raffle copter for each book. EACH BOOK WILL GET YOU 1 ENTRY. That’s 6 entries, and 6 books. All for 6 bucks. NOT BAD. This works exactly like a Raffle does for your local rotary club or the boy scout TV’s… Buying the books is your tickets (only cheaper!)
There will be other ways to get extra entries to improve your chances on the raffle copter that will come available once you do the initial entry.
Winner will be announced on the 24th on the AAD blog and on the AAD FB page, as well as emailed!
NOW… the fine print: Winner pays their own transportation and any gratuities, taxes and room service on the room. This prize cannot be transferred and MUST be used for the 2013 convention year. This prize has NO CASH VALUE and cannot be turned in for monetary compensation.
And guess what else you win on top of the AWESOME Grand Prize?
How about entry to a special invite only party? Yep. And some other hotel goodies!
Now you probably wanna know what books will be 99 cents right? Well…
The Blood of the Vow by Saranna DeWylde
Entwined by Fate by S.A. Price
The Naughty Nibbles Anthology by Cara North
The Sexy Shifter Box set (three interconnected stories) by Amanda Bonilla

Ride of the Darkyrie ~ Urban Fantasy
I’m very excited about this piece. This heroine is so kickass. It’s like Dexter meets Anita Blake. I’m having fun with her–she has such a long road ahead of her before redemption.
In each book, Brynn has three conflicts to deal with. One supernatural, one professional, and one personal. The story arc and theme that tie the series together is Brynn’s growth—a heroine’s journey. In the beginning, she’s something not human who lives outside the world, cold and detached. As she follows her quest to claim her birthright as a Darkyrie and the Queen of Hel, she becomes more invested in the world around her and the people/beings she’s sworn to protect as a cop and a goddess. The closer she moves to divinity, the more human she becomes until she feels and experiences things more intensely than a human ever could, including love. She’s torn between two men. Her partner, a man who was once a god and one of her most trusted generals, and the assassin who once lived for her death, but finds she’s not the same woman he vowed to kill.
Want a couple of excerpts?
Excerpt 1
I am the daughter of a serial killer.
They say my father was sick, but murder isn’t a virus or some alien bacteria. I can’t deny it’s an infection. His blood runs through my veins, his breath is in my lungs and my synapses fire the way he programmed them. Murder is always there, hanging over me—the familiar stranger.
He was a handsome man—black curls framing a marble Botticellian face. Yet for his classic beauty, he was a chameleon. His skin shimmered and there was something beneath it that was not like them —the ones he hunted. I remember his hands the most, strong and broad. Tools of his trade, their width and breadth meant to span a man’s neck. Meant to crush bone and tear sinew. I remember the way blood looked on those hands, like melted rubies splashed against snow.
I am part of him, but I am not like him.
I’m not like them either—the prey.
{…}
Excerpt 2
Even after all of this, I am a good cop. I have a good reputation. I was the youngest to make detective in my squad. The FBI has invited me to consult on their serial murder task force. I am a shining star.
And they all want to know how I hunt the hunters. What is it that lets me get into their heads and think as the aberrations think? I have no answer for them except to say it’s what I do. It’s what I was born for.
I am a hunter of hunters.
