I’m so looking forward to tonight at 10. Not just cos the ant’s nest in my kitchen starts to get busy around that time, but Stath Lets Flats begins on Channel 4.

I was lucky enough to be involved in the show – created and starring the brilliant and lovely Jamie Demetriou. I co-wrote the first three eps with Jamie, before going off to write Friday Night Dinner 5. I script-edited the last three eps.

Jamie is an incredible writer and performer. Just ridiculously good. He’s also one of the silliest guys I’ve ever met, so sitting opposite him in my house for several months, mucking around while we were supposed to be writing, was one of the best times I’ve had for ages. Hope you enjoy.

We’re back on Channel 4 on Friday May 4th at 10pm….

This is such a funny, gorgeous short from the amazing David Earl aka Brian Gittins/Cumbo. David has been making such fantastic stuff for so long now, but this might be my fave thing of his so far.

It’s also co-written by the superb Chris Hayward, produced by the excellent Rupert Majendie, and of course fantastically shot by Jim Archer. Enjoy…

Yes, it’s finally happening. Actually, we’ve known for quite a long time, but it always takes ages before these things can be announced officially, as we have to finalise actors’ contracts, and make sure the dates work with everyone. But anyway – I’m really thrilled, and have been busy writing for several months – currently on episode 4 (of 6).

Thanks so much to everyone that tweeted or emailed me to ask if there’d be a 5th series. I’m so sorry I didn’t reply – it’s hard to know what to say when you actually know, but you’re not allowed to tell anyone, so apologies to all of you and thanks again.

We’re filming at the beginning of 2018 – so see you on the telly some time after.

I’m loving these little animated fables by the brilliant Dyna Moe. They’re so charming, and have such funny scripts. Enjoy bug people…
