This is going to be a great year! I can feel it. I'm excited and ready to hit the ground running.

I have a lot planned for this year when it comes to releases. As many of you know I received the rights back to all of my EC books as of Dec. 31, 2016. I've also received several of my books back from Totally Bound Publishing. I'm excited to get them cleaned up and put them back out with awesome new covers!

After much thought, I've decided not to self publish them. Thankfully, I have the amazing Resplendence Publishing that is willing to invest in my backlist and get them put back out. I work a lot of hours at my day job, and I just don't have the time for self-publishing. I do plan to continue my Knight's Watch series and to wrap up the Something More series. Those are the only two projects I currently have slated as self-pub works.

As this year is filled with scheduled release dates, I'm going to post month by month on the coming soon page to keep everyone up-to-date on what's next. Lots of re-releases mixed in with brand new stories!

February 2017 marks a decade of writing for me. My first book ever published was His Bare Obsession, which released on Feb 21, 2007. What a crazy ten years it's been. Lots of ups and downs but through it all, I've continued writing. I'm grateful for that. Look for lots of fun giveaways in February as I celebrate!

I had no idea it'd been so long since my last blog post. All I can say is I've been busy. I'm sure all of you know how that goes. Way to many things going on right now, but I'm loving all of it. Being busy feels great.
So what have I been up to? Switching jobs, getting my oldest daughter situated in her new school, and settling in to not having my son under foot anymore. So good and bad, lol. I work longer hours at the new job and my writing time isn't what it used to be. So when I do have time, I work on my books instead of blogging.

Where did 2016 go????? It's been a great year. I had several new books and several re-releases of older books. Plus I jumped into audio! Here's the year in review in covers.

The old Girls Night Out series was relaunched with a new series name: Something More.

All in all a satisfying year. I didn't get as many books finished as I'd planned, but I'm okay with that. It happens. That means I have a lot planned for 2017.

First up is the 9th Awakening Pride book, Cry of the Pride which I'm working on now. This will be followed closely by two self published books, the third Knight's Watch book, Guarded, and the final Something More book, More Than Words.

I also have five books that will be re-released at the beginning of 2017. They were all previously published with Ellora's Cave Publishing. The first two are first person sci-fi menages: Enforced Love and Confined Love. I'll be adding a third book to this trilogy that has not been previously published.
The other three books are my Shifters Veil series: White Valley, Into the Mist, Through the Veil. These will all be getting cleaned up with fresh edits and brand new covers. I'll be adding more to the Shifters Veil series as well. There are several books already planned in various stages for this series.

I'll be adding to other series as well. I'm also hoping to launch a few stand alone stories, but we'll see what time allows. I always have big plans, lol. Then the year goes by far too quickly.Still, my fingers are crossed for lots of writing time in 2017!

I'll tell you I hope to get more blogging in but I think we all know that my intentions are good but my time is limited, lol. Still, I'll do my best. My biggest issue is I never know what to share. Does it get annoying when an author only blogs about new releases or back list books? What are some topics you guys would like me to discuss? Author interviews? Book reviews for other authors? Sex? She was glancing down, fumbling with her wallet as she stepped back into the corridor, when she crashed headfirst into an unforgiving wall of solid muscle. “But you think of me,” he whispered, dropping his head so his breath tickled her ear as he spoke. “I hear you call my name at night. I’ve walked in and seen you thrashing in that big bed, moaning my name. Do you know how hard it is to walk away? Knowing you want me as much as I want you?”
“It’s all those dreams of killing you I have. No Stockholm Syndrome here.”
He laughed. “We may have been getting rough in your dreams, but the only thing killing either of us was probably the pleasure we’re going to unleash when we finally give in.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Oh, but she did, and she wanted. God, how she wanted.“Do you think I can’t pick up on the signals you’re throwing out just because I don’t have your super senses?” he challenged.
“What signals?” She bit her lip, realizing she’d played right into his hands by the way he leaned even closer, touching her with his body.
“That I can’t see the way your pulse picks up every time I enter this room.” He dropped his head and ran his tongue over the fluttering point on her neck. The backs of his fingers skimmed across her taut nipples. “That I can’t see the way your breasts swell and grow tight. You want my mouth there as much as I want to see and taste you there.”
“I…” She moaned, leaning her head back and closing her eyes as he slid his hand over the crotch of her pants and cupped her.

Logan seemed to gather himself and slowly pushed away from her. His stare met hers and she almost lost herself again in the rich chocolate of his gaze. She could drown there, with him, in him.He stepped back once, twice, dropping his head and shaking it back and forth before looking up at her.
“I know. That’s why I’m doing my best to keep my hands off. I don’t know why you’re denying what’s going on between us, but I’ll respect it.”
“You don’t understand—”
“So tell me,” he interrupted. “ I’m all ears. Talk to me.”
“It’s not that easy,” she reasoned.
“I don’t want easy,” Logan fired back. “I want you.”
“There’s more than just the two of us involved here.”
“Not at the moment.”

She thought of all the reasons she should say no. All the reasons to back out and stop before things went too far, before he saw the parts of her she wanted to stay hidden. Then she met his eyes and knew there wasn’t a reason that would stop her this time. She wanted something raw and elemental. Something to fuel fantasies for years to come. She wanted him to fuck her. Should she tell him that she wasn’t very experienced? Just a few bumbled attempts with a boy she’d met then watched die before her eyes? That had been years ago.
