I have been working the last couple of weeks. I’m happy to finally report that the story is done. Yay!

However, I’m not releasing any concrete evidence of this quite yet. I’m hoping to get everything completed and ready for KDP soon.

Off to edit… here is what I’m listening to as I work. If interested.

Sorry for the Twilight Soundtrack, but what can I say. lol

Wow, has it really been this long since I promised a story! First, let me assure you that I haven’t forgotten was temporary distracted. Yes, life came along and I had to find a job and get something moving first. Second, I’ve been working on Mainstreet again… it has changed since the info put her. I joined a writing group and gained some critiques that suggested the story it was… well, it had an element that some might find uncomfortable. So the characters and story changed.

But more to come soon!

When I first had the idea for this story, I looked like this!

The manuscript was finished and I was excited.

I worked and prepared to have the story published, thinking that it was really good.

Then I joined a writing group to help me iron out a couple of issues.

So I got back to it and having been working my butt off for the past little while, trying to make my dream a reality.

The plot changed a little. The characters took on a new life! All good things, growth if you will. I figured out something really interesting along the journey.

It takes a lot of time to make these characters behave and do what is needed to drive their story.

Which is where I am now! I have days my characters don’t speak to me.

Then days like this… Writer’s Block

I’m no longer going to give an estimated time of completion… just know.

Things have been interesting while writing to say the least. I’ve joined a new group to help with ironing out the details of the re-release of Main Street. During this time, the story has really changed. The character have changed and the overall story has developed into so much more than it was.

Due to some great advice, I’ve dropped the troupe of her being a teacher and him being a student. For some, this could have been a hard pill to swallow, and I didn’t want that. So the story has taken on a whole new world. They are still the same characters. She still becomes a stripper, but the character she meets is an older version of Austin, which I think will work out better.

The projected release date is September 14th, 2015. If something happens and I can’t make this release date, I will post a note here explaining why.

Things have been rather stressful lately and with everyone’s work schedules, I’ve hit a snag. I’d hoped to have Main Street published sometime in April, but I’m having to push that back to September 2015. The story has undergone a complete overhaul, and I’m getting closer to my complete manuscript; however, I’m not there yet. Every day I work with beta readers and critiquers to clean it up and get it ready for my editor.

Dominating Perfection will also be moved back to either later in the year or sometime next year. With the major and unforeseen overhaul of Main Street, I haven’t been able to devote the time needed to get this on into shape. However, the first couple of chapters have been reviewed and critiqued for editing. So slow progress that I will keep everyone updated on. As of now, I don’t have an editor for this piece and had plans of querying a publishing house about it, but I will have to see what the end result is. When the piece is completed, I will start looking for editors.

So wish me luck.

All right guys, I’m proud to announce that everything, and I mean everything is going great!

The new editor, I hired for Main Street, is working out brilliantly. She has given me some good ideas and insight to go on. We’re working at a steady pace. We’re already up to chapter 5 of a 20 chapter story, so not to much longer! (crossing fingers here). I’ve went in and tweaked a couple of things here and there with the story, but I’m feeling really good about it! The sequel to the story has already been plotted out on my software app. It’s just a matter of getting these edits out of the way to start moving on development of the next installment.

Dominating Perfection is moving nicely too! The editors and I are working on chapter 16. We are moving at a consistent pace, considering the story will be really long. Unless I plan on removing the finally chapter total is around 56 or so chapters.

Things this week have been going great! I was able to locate the people I need to help me, and both stories are progressing really well. The stories are all ready completely written. Now, it’s just find the right people to iron out my words.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing them for a couple of years now, and their works is always exceptional and outstanding in my opinion. I would recommend them to anyone for a book cover. The betas and myself are working diligently on refining the story and getting it ready to publish.
