From my early years to the present, books have been a refuge. They’ve fueled my imagination. I’ve traveled to faraway places and met aliens with Asimov, Heinlein, Clarke, Herbert, and Le Guin. I’ve explored historical events with Michener and Clavell, and I played spy with Ludlum and Fleming.

There’s no doubt that the early sci-fi masters influenced the writing of my first two series, The Silver Ships and Pyreans. I crafted my stories to give readers intimate views of my characters, who wrestle with the challenges of living in space and inhabiting alien worlds.

I know where I want to take the story, but I don't know how many steps it will take to get there. Some concerns has been voiced by readers that since the eleventh book is entitled "Nua'll" that it might be the series' end. I've been assuring my readers that it's not the case. By the way, I'm speaking of the stories' primary character, Alex Racine. There are other Silver Ships characters and subplots, which I wish to explore, such as a return to Sol. On Sept. 7th, I’ll deliver my manuscript into the hands of my indie editor and thereafter to my proofreaders.

The trilogy’s conclusion has taken longer to complete than "The Silver Ships" or "Libre" because it’s over a third longer than either of the them. I felt it was important to conclude subplots and speak to themes that had developed over the course of the trilogy. I hope my readers enjoy the extra pages.

After this trilogy, there will be a future for Alex and his friends. Apparently, the universe is not willing to let them rest for long.

The expected publishing date for "Méridien" is Nov. 1st.(less)

Jucha answered Giuseppe Turitto's question: I have been reading each one of your books since I read the first Silver Ships. after reading Beyond the Gates, I wonder will be more books for the Cercians. Or this is over? Thank You for revive my love for SciFi literature I thank you for your support, Giuseppe. Personal challenges upset my regular publishing schedule. The next Cercians novel, "Worlds A Plenty," will be released about March 10th.
