From my early years to the present, books have been a refuge. They’ve fueled my imagination. I’ve traveled to faraway places and met aliens with Asimov, Heinlein, Clarke, Herbert, and Le Guin. I’ve explored historical events with Michener and Clavell, and I played spy with Ludlum and Fleming.

There’s no doubt that the early sci-fi masters influenced the writing of my first two series, The Silver Ships and Pyreans. I crafted my stories to give readers intimate views of my characters, who wrestle with the challenges of living in space and inhabiting alien worlds.

I know where I want to take the story, but I don't know how many steps it will take to get there. Some concerns has been voiced by readers that since the eleventh book is entitled "Nua'll" that it might be the series' end. I've been assuring my readers that it's not the case. By the way, I'm speaking of the stories' primary character, Alex Racine. There are other Silver Ships characters and subplots, which I wish to explore, such as a return to Sol. On Sept. 7th, I’ll deliver my manuscript into the hands of my indie editor and thereafter to my proofreaders.

The trilogy’s conclusion has taken longer to complete than "The Silver Ships" or "Libre" because it’s over a third longer than either of the them. I felt it was important to conclude subplots and speak to themes that had developed over the course of the trilogy. I hope my readers enjoy the extra pages.

After this trilogy, there will be a future for Alex and his friends. Apparently, the universe is not willing to let them rest for long.

The expected publishing date for "Méridien" is Nov. 1st.(less)

Jucha answered Peter Lücke's question: Hello Sir, Just finished "Imperiums demise" and I HUNGER to know when I can continue to read about Z and Mirandas new adventures into a new conflict zone and finding the 5th colony ship....? oh and by the way LOVE that the mickies and Naiads are following along ... been reading since the beginning and the wait between books are hard I hope to release "Clash of Wills," in mid-November, Peter. It's the first novel in the Cercians series, which continues the Earthers saga.
