Joseph Pasquarella Jr., author of Elegy of the Song Sparrow and Images of Miss Lindfors was born in Youngstown, Ohio, in 1962. Joseph’s grandparents Khanamir and Khatrun Michaelian were surviving victims of the Armenian genocide as children. His great-grandmother Yettar Michaelian was killed in 1915 during the horrific brutality.

As a child, Joseph heard firsthand accounts of the atrocities while visiting often with his grandparents. All his adult life, Joseph has enjoyed writing and creating various characters, while authoring literary fiction around factual and historical events and backdrops. Joseph lives in northeast Ohio with his beautiful wife, Kalliopi “Caroline” Pasquarella. They have two children together, Joseph III and Rachel.

Some times switching up like that gets me going. Taking long walks to get the juices flowing again doesn't hurt either.(less)
