Book Announcement
Many of you know that I am working on a new book, especially if you listen to my podcast or follow me on Twitter and all of that.
Today, I realized I'm getting close to a new milestone - 100k words. That definitely confirms my recent suspicions that this novel, what I dub a "postmodern fantasy fiction," will be a good deal longer than planned, but the end is finally in sight.
Eventually, I'll be releasing a prologue chapter, along with the official title. Once the manuscript is finished, I'll be sending it out to publishers to see who is interested, so who knows what will come of this project?
I have a few beta readers following along, and so far the response has been overwhelmingly positive. At the very least, I hope to be releasing a synopsis of the book as a quick tease, maybe once I hit 100k. Sound good?

My debut fantasy novel, Killerjoy, is coming out this summer via paperback and ebook. It is the first of a three-part series.

Thousands of years in the future, wizards are worshiped as godlike superheroes. But the masked rogues? Not so much. Attle is neither a hero or "masque," but he finds himself caught in their struggle when a monster from the past appears, perhaps to doom them all. All while Exa, an outcast of the heroes, stumbles across even more secrets that threaten the age of lords and masques.
