The Salt Lines

The story is finally complete!

After the publication of The Hidden Keystone last year, I've been waiting impatiently for the concluding volume to become available.

The Final Shroud (book 2 of The Salt Lines saga) will be released globally on 29 April. However, it's available for pre-order from various bookstores right now. Here's a handy link: mybook.to/Final_Shroud

Overall, 4.5 stars. Nice mix of stories from apocalyptic to mythic and even SF. Jeffs' voice is assured and her prose is efficient. All the stories felt tightly constructed and finished on the right note. My personal fave was "Keep the Stitches Small ...more

Good variation in themes and settings. Economical prose. Found some of the early stories to be short and most often in first person, which left me wanting greater character development. Second half of the collection seemed to address this.

Nathan Hi Phillip,

Good to see you as well. Not much writing going on in my household at the moment as my wife and I had our second daughter 12 weeks ago. Brielle is a cutie but has yet to learn the art of sleeping peacefully. We keep trying to set a good example.

Cheers, Nathan.

How's the writing coming?
