The Power of Taking Small Steps Every Day

The Taoist monk Lao Tzu once said, “The journey of 1,000 miles begins with one step.” This principle can be transferred into any area of life if you understand the power behind this thought.

Many people want more love, health, and money. Some individuals would consider these
essential to a happy life. The challenge for many people is not realizing becoming successful in
any of these areas is accomplished, one step at a time. But there is power in each of those
steps.

Steps

How to Prevent Postponing Your Own Happiness

I must have heard a thousand people tell me multiple times, “I’ll be happy
as soon as….” These good-hearted individuals think happiness is
something that will come to them in the future when a condition changes.
Consequently this type of thinking is a false reality.

Since the beginning of time, Happiness has been studied. There are
different types of happiness and different levels of happiness. One
thing is for sure, happiness feels good, and it is something all of us seek
regularly.

The des...

How to Retrain Your Brain to Increase Your Wealth

Regardless of whats happening with the economy, there are always some people who manage to float to the top. Some of the greatest wealth is amassed during down economies.

Why? You might think it was obtained unethically. And its true, some people are not ethical. But a lot of good, honest and ethical people thrive even when those around them are struggling.

Much of the difference has to do with mindset, beliefs and what you are resonating with. We attract what we are, what we believe and what...

Freedom to Do What You Want to Do

I often tell people, the caged bird is only confined until it discovers the door is open. The same with people, we feel free, when we discover how much more freedom we actually have.

John was like many of us, he worked hard, came home to his family and TV at night. John came to me as a client because he recently got a promotion at work, and wanted to do something with the additional income. He thought the session would only cover his finances but we discovered something much more urgent that...

Freedom Requires Growth and Risk

Do you have big dreams or ambitions? Do you want to experience the exhilarating freedom of pursuing a life you love and that brings fulfillment and happiness? There’s no way around it, in order to be truly free and happy, you have to grow. And growth requires taking risks, stepping outside your comfort zone and, yes, facing difficult challenges.

Freedom Requires Taking Risks Growth, freedom, risk, security and true happiness

Life Coaching: Set Yourself and Others Free

“Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor. It must be demanded by the oppressed.”
– Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion. Decide on what you want your life to be and become it today. Settle for nothing less than exactly what you want and the universe will conspire to assist you.

If you’re considering being a life coach, it’s time to set yourself free and lead as many peop...

If You Want to Be Wealthy, Manage Your Money Like the Wealthy Do

Would you like to know the secret to wealth and prosperity that only the rich know?

The first thing you need to know is that if you handle the money you currently have, more will come to you. If you can’t handle your current level of finances, what makes you think you can handle more money?

If a 10 year old came up to you asking you to drive your car, what would you say? Of course you would say, “no.” Even if the child began to beg and plead, you would explain that a vehicle can be fun but it...

Respond to Life, Don’t React

by Dr. Michael J. Duckett

I often say that we should respond to life and not react to it. What’s the difference?

Let’s say you go to the doctor for an ailment and the doctor gives you some medicine to take home. One week later you visit the doctor for a follow-up visit. Which would you rather have the doctor say about the results of the medication?

That you’re reacting to the medicine?

Or

You are responding to the medicine?

Of course the latter is more comforting to hear because this indicat...

The Power of Resolve

by Dr. Michael J. Duckett

There is a potential power in everything – in a light switch, in a key to your car, in your life. The power of result comes about when you reach a point in your life when you say, “That is it. I’m not going to play a small game anymore. It doesn’t do me any good to play a small game. It doesn’t do anyone else good for me to play a small game.”

When you get to that type of resolve, it’s not wishful thinking. It’s causative action. We cause what we want to occur in ou...
