Updates

If you follow me on social media I'm sure you've noticed that I have been scarce and quiet lately. While the reason has been personal I wanted to take this time to explain my absence. As some of you may already know I recently lost two siblings. My second oldest brother died unexpectedly the week before thanksgiving 2017 while we were still shaken from the loss of my younger step sister who lost her battle with cancer on Easter Sunday earlier that year. As you can imagine it has been a long and painful road for me and my family and to be honest I'm still struggling.

I've tried to put on a brave face and move forward but this is something that I can not fake or rush. I'm not sure I'll ever be the same person but I'm trying to make sense of a world that no longer has Nate and Dee in it.

At this point I'm just trying to... I'm not sure. Come to terms with the sudden deaths of two people I thought I would have years more life with.

As for my writing, I'm still trying to put words on pages but it's hard to think of HEA's at the moment. So it has been slow going at best.

As of now my planned releases will be season two of the Doubt series. Books 6 through 10. I also have plans for a stand alone in the Gentlemen's Series Universe. No dates have been set.

Thank you to all the people who have contacted me with support and kind words.

Love you guys.

Sharon

Joyful news

The crossover short story I began for Cat Johnson's Hot Seals Series is now at the editor. It has been a interesting ride exploring another author's world and introducing my own characters to a well known and loved universe. As of now Gentlemen's Seal is due out  October 2017.

If you follow me you may have noticed that I have been away from most of social media. This year has been especially trying in my everyday life. My oldest child under went heart surgery last month and I am excited to share that she is doing better than I had ever dared to hope. Now with that I am ready to step back out and continue moving forward.

I will be attending GRL this year Oct 16th thru 23rd in Denver. It's my first GRL and I am so excited to go and meet authors and readers alike. I hope to see you there!

Crossovers

If you follow me on any of my other social media accounts then you already know I have been working non-stop on a new WIP. What you didn't know is that this will be my first M/F crossover. I will be jumping into author Cat Johnson's universe for her wildly popular Hot Seals.

I had the opportunity to meet Cat during the RT book convention this year in Atlanta.  My last name finally worked to my favor landing me seated beside her. As we talked she told me about her series that features Navy Seals and I was hooked. After reading her first book in that series I was dying to get involved.

This WIP is now in the editing phase and I will be releasing it later this year. In this release I will be taking Eric and Natasha from The Gentlemen's League series on the road.

The Gentlemen's league

It's a wrap!
Men of Distinction is now available on Amazon! As the final book in the series (?) I felt the need to talk about the team that inspired me to publish my first novel. Writing these characters allowed me to look back at my own military experience and bring out some of the finer points. It's both sad a exciting to bring this series to an end but I can ensure you that you will see the guys (and of course Natasha) weave their ways into other stories from this universe. There has also been talks of a M/F spinoff covering these stories from the perspectives of the other member of the team. (Yay more Natasha and Eric!)

June 02nd, 2017

Pride Month It was easy to decide my topic today, being pride month we are flooded with tweets and memes of support. As an openly pan-sexual pride month offers a unique experience of broad acceptance. Over the last decade there has been laws passed that have taken steps in the direction of equality. Extending to many basic rights that have been too long denied. Staying clear of political mind fields, I have to say we are not done fighting. Recent events have highlighted that while we have made bold, daring steps there are still those who will gladly set the times back. So while we are all celebrating, lets not forget that Pride is not just a concept we embrace once a year. As a community we need to ensure every day that we fight to create a world free of hate and fear. We need our old and our young. Our allies. Our friends and families. To stand with us, celebrate us, morn with us. Because no matter where you stand inside the rainbow, we are all one. We are human.

Every story has its beginning...

If you follow me on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/SharonJohnso..., you know this year has been extremely difficult. Deaths, illnesses, and endless delays, all conspired against my latest title "Where Doubt Remains", https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3..., resulting in the release date to pushed back. But the show must and will go on so with the help of my friends, editors, and family, it was finally released on 5/13/2016.

I am currently working on two projects, the first "Ladies and Gentlemen" Book 1.5 in the Gentlemen series is currently in editing and is due to be released in July/2016.

This title will feature a male/female relationship - cue the dramatic music - but let me explain. When I first began writing I promised myself, and my readers, to never shy away from any coupling and I plan to do just that.

I refuse to imagine a world that doesn't include badass women, and the people who love them. By far "Natasha" is one of my favorite characters and I wanted to tell her story.

My current WIP is "No Man Left Behind" Book 2 in the Gentlemen series. This title will be released before the end of the year.

So that's it for now, this July will mark my first M/F novelette and I hope I see you there.

And as always, stay kinky!
