It's Almost the End of 2020

The year is almost at an end. It's been one nightmare of a year and I know I haven't been productive.
I've been in a stalemate with the poetry collection that I've been working on the edits of. Part of it is crippling anxiety and despair at facing the edits. The daunting task makes my nerves scream. The other part is this one poem in it that I keep having to rewrite over and over and it's still not working out. No matter how many times I rewrite it, it keeps falling short and sounding weak. As mu...

The End of an Era

There have been a lot of consideration and internal conflicts going on when it has come to my three poetry collections. After much struggle, I decided to retire the original covers for the collections and set out on getting new, original art for them.
I debated on what the covers would look like and then I remembered that one of my favorite art styles is abstract. And so, two things I loved came together. Poetry and abstract art.
I adore how the covers came out.

This Secret

Picture So, this was something I'd been toying with for a long time.  This Secret  is a small collection containing the poems I'd included in my poetry compilation Your Loving Embrace.
The compilation has been taken out of circulation so that I could revamp the cover. I don't know when I'll have the new cover completed, but that is something I'm hard at work on. This collection isn't all that long, especially when compared to my previous collections, so with that in mind, I set the price f...

Dragon Child

A loud shout out to Elana A. Mugdan.
Today, the ebook version of the second book in her Shadow War Saga, Dragon Child, went live!
This series is one of my favorites. It's a rich fantasy, with a nice sized cast. With dragons! Who doesn't love dragons, right?
And for a limited time, you can buy it for just $0.99!

General Update

Picture Picture Picture I'm going to be honest, I've hit a bit of a writing slump. I haven't been able to get my mind to focus on any particular project for long periods. That said, I've been hard at work writing my next poetry collection. Poetry is easiest for me to really focus on right now. The collecting, organizing and editing is complete. Currently, I have someone looking over it, though it might be a bit before I get any return notes and edits for it.
That's all good, though. A...

Time goes on

Writing had been a difficult journey for me for the past few months. While tea has helped, it wasn't enough to get the words going. At first, I was angry about this, but I made my peace with the fact that I obviously needed a vacation.
I'm slowly getting back into writing with the turn of the new year. I started with a short story. It took me about three days to write less than 4,000 words, but I was so proud of it. The time it took didn't bother me. The journey was what matter.
What I do wit...

Adagio Tea

Normally I wouldn't write a post about something that isn't writing related, but I'm justifying it as Adagio Tea is a writing savior for me. I've been struggling with writing due to stress from my personal life, but Adagio Tea has helped me find my zen once again.
So now, I'm going to go into a review of Adagio Teas.
I am truly in love with this company and their products. I found them through someone that I follow on Tumblr and got curious. It's tea after all. The sample I'd tried was a fand...
