Mateen Manek is a writer and poet from Toronto, Canada. He often writes about politics, culture and conflict on his blog the clearly illiterate cafe. He has produced four short films and released two musical albums. He also does calligraphy and has an interest in drama, poetry and music. He also has worked in different mediums, from novels to radio plays.

In those, I always try to just write to get to the next part or accept the truth of the story.
