First, I would like to apologize to everybody who pre-ordered Claimed and received the wrong file. My worst nightmare became true and I can't do anything but to hope that Amazon fixes this problem as soon as possible. I contacted them as soon as I checked the product display and saw that what was showing was the placeholder and not the final uploaded file. I immediately checked the paperback, and the final file was showing there. The paperback preview was showing the correct file. I logged in to my dashboard and checked the previewer: the ebook previewer was showing the correct file.So what went wrong?I have no idea.I contacted Amazon and told them what was happening. They normally take 24h to reply so at this point I don't know what their answer will be. I also shared on my social media what is going on so that the ones who follow me read this and request Amazon to update the correct file. I'm just one person and they might just blame it all on me. I'm upset but trying to do damage control. What I can say is I'M TRULY SORRY and I hope that you are patient enough to wait for this to be sorted out. You already waited one extra month to grab this story. :( So this happening sucks and guts me but I can only hope the correct file is updated and sent to your kindle reader/app. That is one of the reasons I'm writing this blog post. I've been super busy with writing all the books that are to be released this year. I've also been busy with editing, outlining, coming up with cover ideas, and taking care of my family. Lately, I've been talking about the Rescued by the Alpha nonstop.To the ones who aren't receiving my Newsletter, Rescued by the Alpha is a novella that will be part of Dark Rising, a Paranormal box set with other authors. The main charactersFiona: The BrideJoshua: The AlphaJoshua is a hybrid werewolf. Along the story, his Beta talks about Alpha Derek. For anyone who read Spellbound, they might remember that there's a Derek there who helps Annabel and her brother to invade Alaric's compound. Derek will have his own story but I decided to do a few novellas that will be then added to the Immortal Series, but that happens in Boston.Why?Well, Annabel's hunting ground changes from Chicago to Boston. That's where she's living before she moves to Affinity (Her royal family's territory).There's talk about the organization she works for but that will be more developed in the sequel of Soul-Mate (yes, there's a sequel but it's not finished yet). The organization will be also mentioned when I publish the pre-pre-sequel with Annabel's parents' love story (I've talked about this before and there's a blog post about it too). They are actually part of the founders. :D Stuff is going to get real between this year and the next. Excited? am, but I need more hours in the day to do everything I want. I'm really busy working on new projects so I have standalones but also to hit the USAT bestselling list. I tried last year but it didn't work so this year I'm focused on writing for box sets but also co-writing with an awesome author. We'll be having more books together soon enough.
