Tim Trott's Blog

Cassidy Hollis just found out she's not entirely human. Now she has to find out what that means — and it's the first book in a complete trilogy about a mother's hidden origin and the daughter who inherits it.

I'm opening up a small number of free ARC spots ahead of launch, in exchange for an honest review. If genetic secrets, inherited alien abilities, paranormal and sci-fi are your thing, I'd love to have you on the team.

Only a few spots left — no pressure if it's not your genre, but I'd genuinely appreciate the support. 🙏

I just finished a short story collection (The Brown Bean Coffee Shoppe 9/30/23 release) centered on the paranormal abilities of a young barista. There are 13 chapters. So far we have explored remote viewing, clairvoyant dreams, time travel, and alternate dimensions.

My only problem is that it appears the market for short stories is very limited. Am I getting an accurate picture? Would Poe and Thurber be left out in the cold in today's market?
