Rest In Peace my dear father.

After fighting for 7 whole years dad lost his battle against a malicious brain tumour.

It all started with a game of indoor football. That day changed my dad`s life as he headed the ball and a blood vessel burst. This made my dad pass out a few hours later and he was found by an unknown gentleman.

The bleed on the brain was very quickly rectified, but after a CT scan they noticed that a grade 3 tumour was growing on dad`s frontal lobe. The surgeons operated on him and succeeded in removing the cancer.

On the 9th of June, my father; Kevin Neil Taylor passed away. He did not feel pain and he had a really wonderful and a very fulfilling life. He had so many visitors while he was in the hospice, who love him so much.

Dad would not have seen it as loosing the battle, but winning as be fought it for so long and never let it put him down. We love your sense of humour father

I love you Dad and I will continue to make you proud as I believe you are watching over me. You have been an inspiration and I will be planting a fruit tree in your honour.

Always in my thoughts and in my heart.

Your son

Huge error.

At first I thought to myself, I shall leave it for a while and will see what happens.

I left it for nearly 2 months now and I am itching to recall Darkest Light from all vendors and get the major error corrected. (I am currently saving up to get this correction made as my publisher will charge me).

The mistake is on the first page, in the first paragraph. I am very embarrassed by this as it will put off alot of readers out there.

I apologize in advance to anyone that has started reading this book and has put it down.

Darkest Light and it`s sequel, Darkest Light - Through the Darkness. Some progress.

Hello :)

I am going to give you some information on Darkest Light - Through the Darkness.

Edition - Sequel to Darkest Light.
Genre - Focusing more on Fantasy in this one, but there will be Romance and Mystery in there.

I have currently written chapters 1-6, 19,24 and the ending. It`s coming along nicely considering how much work I have to deal with nowadays.

My ambitions go beyond this sequel and have already written some of the third edition of Darkest Light.

This story is intended to make the reader think and imagine the protagonists actions, the scenery he sees and the creatures he encounters. This world is not like ours. The creatures are new and some are adorable.

The above is the fantasy part of the story. The romance is realistic and the build up of it will captivate you.

The writing is in first person and the book is very descriptive. I have also added the real world in the story; kind of a mixture in a way.

I would love to hear your comments. Comments, likes and shares are very important to me. They fuel my writing :)

Bye for now and thank you for reading.

Hugs x

Darkest Light - Through the Darkness.

Good Evening.

Or Morning I should say.. Not yet tired and my urge is to write.

The sequel of Darkest Light. Another book I am embarking on. This has truly been an amazing journey. Still at 5,530 words but that is growing.

Today has been very relaxing. I woke up early and took a bus to my dad`s house. Unfortunately he was not too well today but he still retained his normal sense of humour. An awesome father to have.

I had to catch a bus back and took a trip to the post office.

The weather has been quite breezy down here. Cold but not wet. I am now feeling very warm; in bed and I feel hungry. Will have to make myself, a crumpet with plenty of butter smothered across the top. Yummy! =)

I will be leaving this here and will update soon...

The usual hugs and kisses.

Inside Darkest Light

Welcome to Darkest Light; a brand new Fantasy, romance novel.

I remember the start of this project from the beginning. The long days and the long waits. Patience has been a virtue, but have enjoyed every moment of this journey.

It all started in Vittoriosa; a small village on the east of a tiny island called Malta. Many of you may have visited, or even live there. The time was around 9 in the evening and I felt thirsty, so I decided to go to the square to get myself a drink. As I was walking in the street, I thought I recognized a man, so I approached him. I asked if we had ever met before and his reply was that he did not know me, but after a considerable amount of time, I realized that I knew his sister when I was younger.

We ended up sitting outside a bar. Michael bought me a local beer and we chatted. I told Michael a story that I wrote when I was 13 years old and Michael`s words were. 'That is awesome, you should write a book.' 17 months later and the writing still commences.

The story itself is in 1st person. The reason why I chose this type of writing, was because I want the reader to imagine everything that the characters are doing. You get to know the world that I have created and in your mind, you will be able to draw a map of it. The creatures I created; some ugly, some majestic, some cute. Readers say they fall in love with one particular creature. The romance is progressive and the unexpected is everywhere. All you have to do is keep turning those pages.

Darkest Light

As much as I am so proud of my work, I am still a very modest character at heart and I feel slightly nervous knowing someone out there may be reading my book. I am a very new author and I am still learning new things every single day. Your support is very appreciated.

Keep smiling and stay positive.
