Honestly...I don't have a preference as much as I have opinions of each. Non-fiction seems quite a bit easier for me. It seems to flow out better. Fiction, on the other hand, is a real bitch...at least it was for me as I wrote Drawing Circles. Writing fiction is a major commitment of time and energy, whereas writing non-fiction is more of an unemotional, almost academic process. I never broke a sweat writing The CAP Equation. Drawing Circles nearly killed me. (less)
