Not so much news but…
… something along the lines of pre-news news (Like being engaged to be engaged).
Anyway, I figured some folks might want to know what's going forward with the books for 2018 so, consider this my version of the Marvel Cinematic Universe updates.
First off, for Team Elvis, I'm 95,000 plus words into Gideon Quinn's next story, racing into the finale, which is all we'll say about that, for fear of spoilers. Look for Fortune's Fool late spring/early summer, (depending on editor availability).
For the Spy Fi fans: L. Gene and I have Book 2 of The Zodiac Files just past the halfway mark. That's our summer release (again, we flex as-needed for editorial purposes)
Team Errant: Book 4 of The Fortune Chronicles is in the early chapters. Kelley and I are aiming for a fall release of Fortune & Glory, where the crew takes flight for the island of Hollywood, where dreams are made and spirits broken, and everything is for sale. (You'll laugh! You'll cry! Rory will fall down!)
All that, and I'm starting up an Urban Fantasy series. My plan is to release the first three books of Syn City Blues at the end of 2018, top of 2019.
Throughout all of this, the next two Fortune books are also being planned and written and, breaking the prior mold, will have Gideon, Elvis, Mia and the Errant crew joining forces against—oh, wait, nope, can't tell you yet. (Told you it was like the Marvel Cinematic Universe!)
