Random thought on writer's block

Writer’s block. Ever have it?
Not me, not ever. I don’t get it the way most define it. When I am willing to sit at the keyboard something always comes out. Now for the ironic part, I am constantly distracted. I hardly produce one fifth of what I am capable of. Previously I produced nothing for decades, so this is a step in the right direction.
I never run out of ideas. I am always telling myself stories. Creatively I am always writing in my head. I am just a horribly lazy procrastinator looking for any excuse not to succeed at that which makes me feel most accomplished. The psychology of it is simple. The less I try then the less I fail. I know this is what is going on and it only helps me overcome it 30-40% of the time. I know organized, motivated writers who wish they could just blurt out seamless first drafts that need only light editing.
Being an author is such a strange dichotomy. It seems that most of us are divided by those who can easily produce and are easily mislead, then others have the force of will to work hard but must squeeze their psyche for every ounce of creativity at every turn.
It truly makes you wonder if as a great cosmic joke we are faced with a mutually exclusive set of skills which are bound to drive us even more mad than we currently are. Yet we labor on for love of that which eats at us the most. Every writer has demons because of this. No matter which side of the struggle you are on it seems you must constantly fight yourself to produce the fruits of our craft.
Just food for thought.

I need your help, please!

I have written a short story for the Apocalypse Weird world. I normally do not pander much, just a quick release or two when I go live on something; I really need your votes! If this short story is popular enough I could get a contract to do a novel based on it for this publishing company in this world.
Please click the link and vote.

Original Poetry

Feeling a little depressed today so here is a poem about depression and perseverance.
Today we are doing a rondeau.

A rondeau (plural rondeaux) is a form of medieval and Renaissance French poetry, as well as the corresponding musical chanson form. Together with the ballade and the virelai it was considered one of the three formes fixes, and one of the verse forms in France most commonly set to music between the late 13th and the 15th centuries. It is structured around a fixed pattern of repetition of material involving a refrain

It’s  Always Terminal in the End   A human condition, my anger
Enraged never knowing why or how
Little troubles piling upon me
My thoughts always seem to jump around
Serenity alludes me each day

Many days I wish for death
Better perhaps to not exist
The melancholy is overwhelming
A human condition

Fighting through just one more day
Surrounded by some who know, others not
My faith in myself waxes and wanes
I try and fail repeatedly
Dust myself off and do it again
A human condition
