The film "Ali" made the headlines again as the man who played Muhammad Ali, Will Smith, quite shockingly slapped Chris Rock. Last night was Ali's Venus return at 20 Aquarius and Rock's Sun is only 2 degrees away at 18 degrees Aquarius. "Ali" was released with Uranus at 22 degrees Aquarius. Rusesabagina managed to rescue his family and over a thousand refugees who were hiding in his hotel. One from my faves section today! Julia Roberts' portrayed a former beauty queen who took a multi-million dollar company to court and won.  "127 Hours" is not a film for the faint of heart but as it's Aron Ralston's birthday we should pay homage to the man who saved his own life by cutting off his arm after a rock climbing accident. James Franco who played Ralston has his ascedant on the climber's Sun/Uranus conjunction and his MC within three degrees of Ralston's Moon. Rami Malek portrayed Freddie Mercury in "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the connections to the planet Mercury couldn’t be more spectacular. Freddie’s natal Mercury, in its rulership is conjunct his ascendant in Virgo. Malek’s Mercury, in its rulership in Gemini, is conjunct to Freddie’s MC. They have a Sun-Moon conjunction in Virgo—ruled by Mercury. The film, released on this day (24 October) in 2018, won numerous accolades including Malek's Oscar for Best Actor.  This film was a bit too silly and inaccurate to make the book but nonetheless it is interesting. In "Ed Wood" Bela Lugosi was played by Martin Landeau. Both actors had the same angles and Lugosi, who made a career out of playing a blood-sucking vampire, had both Saturn and Chiron conjunct Algol. Transiting Pluto in Scorpio was exactly opposite when the film was released. Landeau won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.  "Looking For Mr Goodbar" was about a teacher of deaf children who moonlighted as a barfly. Murder victim Roseann Quinn (known as Thersa Dunn in the film) had natal Sun and Mars in Scorpio. Diane Keaton had Mars in Cancer and transiting Mars was exactly conjunct this when the film was released on this day (19 October) in 1977. Astrology or coincidence?  Zac Efron turns 34 today. In 2019, he shocked fans by agreeing to portray the serial killer Ted Bundy. However, Variety magazine praised his performance, saying "Extremely Wicked doesn't rub our noses in the horror of Ted Bundy.
