Robert Sultan is a retired engineer, now living in Bangkok. Sultan brings a scientist’s sensibility to the study of sex in his recently published book, The Old Man and the Semen: Sex and the Aging Male.

As a 78 year old man with an active libido, Sultan has an intimate understanding of the challenges facing elderly men who continue to view sex as essential to their being, and he enjoys sharing what he has learned with others. Sultan believes that the elderly, free from the pressures of work and family, may be in a better position than others to simply relax and enjoy sex, if only they can keep those pesky health issues at bay.

While not a sex professional, Sultan claims a good deal of relevant life experience from time behind the front desk Robert Sultan is a retired engineer, now living in Bangkok. Sultan’s most recent novel, The 28th Amendment is set in a future where Americans are finally free to live as they choose. Against this background, one man, Dan Silver, a recent retiree, is able to achieve his dream of becoming a porn star.

Sultan previously published two historical novels. The Vientiane Affair is set in Laos during the early days of America’s secret war against that country. CIA agent Jack Gold wants to track down whoever murdered his drinking buddy Fred Jenkins. It’s not an easy task since Jenkins is a man who no one could possibly want to kill.

Slaughtering Girl is the story of a young woman, Chen Liquan, growing up in China during the turbulent years following the 1911 revolution. She is a woman with an extraordinary talent for slaughtering fowl, a talent that serves her well as Mao rises to power.

Sultan enjoyed a long career as an engineer with IBM, Fujitsu Network Communications, Huawei Technologies, and his own company, Datanet Associates. He holds numerous US, European, and Chinese patents and was an active contributor to Ethernet standards.
