Why Robert Mueller Leaked Word of Trump Obstruction of Justice Investigation

Bill Palmer (palmerreport.com) on why Robert Mueller has leaked word that he is in fact now investigating Donald Trump for obstruction of justice.

Robert Mueller just cleverly made it so Donald Trump can’t fire him

Sessions Admits to Third Conversation with Kislyak

As Bill Palmer (palmerreports.com) notes, at one point in his testimony Jeff Sessions referred to his three alleged (rather than two belatedly admitted) conversations with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, thus confirming the meeting he so vociferously denies ever happened. Here’s the exchange:

Marco Rubio: “At any point during the campaign, did you have an interaction [with anyone] who in hindsight you look back and say they tried to gain influence [with you]?”

Jeff Sessions: “I don’t believe [I did] in my conversations with [Kislyak] the three times.”

Why is no one talking about this?

Jeff Sessions slipped up during testimony and admitted to third meeting with Russian Ambassador

Important new inside information on James Comey’s thinking and strategy related to the Trump-Putin conspiracy, starting with when Trump threatened his job and going through his Congressional testimony yesterday. Thanks again to Patrick Andraste for turning me on to patribotics.blog

In response to queries, here is some background information on Louise Mensch, the person behind patribotics.blog, taken from a story posted on the National Public Radio website at, http://www.npr.org/templates/transcript/transcript.php…, which she links to from her blog. Pro-America, pro-democracy, pro-NATO, pro-Russia, anti-Putin.”

Comey Legally Taped Calls, Meetings with Trump (Patribotics)

The latest from patribotics.blog is that, through use of Comey’s phone, with his consent, investigators have tapes of all Comey’s conversations with Donald Trump, Donald Trump, jr., and others, going back more than a year. This is seriously bad news for Trump and his cohorts.

Why Did Comey Pre-Release the Text of His Opening Testimony

Why did James Comey release the full text of his opening statement testimony a day ahead of his appearance at the Senate Intelligence Committee? Bill Palmer has some interesting thoughts.

James Comey just leaked his own testimony. Now watch Donald Trump panic and incriminate himself.

Trump’s Nominee for FBI Director Has Conflict-of-Interest Issues

Everybody seems to be speaking highly of Christopher Wray, whom Trump today twitter-nominated as the new FBI director. But Bill Palmer notes that Wray’s law firm is itself a party in the Trump-Russia affair, so there are some serious conflict of interest issues here.

Donald Trump tries nominating Christopher Wray, from his own Russia-tinged law firm, as FBI Director

Hear Me Narrate Episode 7 of “The Life and Art of Frank Moore”

I’m delighted to be one of the narrators in the 7th episode of “The life and art of shaman, performance artist, writer, poet, painter, rock singer, director, TV show host, teacher & bon vivant Frank Moore,” just released by Linda Mac, Michael LaBash, and Inter-Relations. (My part is in the middle of the half-hour video, time stamps 8:40-20:26.)

Frank Moore was a true revolutionary artist, brimming with warmth, humor, creativity, insight, and the special kind of outrageous perspective that I like to call crazy wisdom. He was definitely not one of the regular people. I’m honored to have been chosen as one of the readers in this ongoing presentation of Frank’s writing.

Coats’s and Roberts’s Stonewalling a Blessing in Disguise?

An interesting perspective from Bill Palmer (palmerreport.com) on Coats’ and Rogers’ refusal to confirm that Trump pressured them to intervene in the Flynn investigation.

Mike Rogers and Dan Coats did us all a favor today by keeping quiet about Donald Trump (for now)

Kindness and Heroism in Response to London Attacks

Dozens of stories of kindness and heroism from everyday people in response to the brutal attacks in London last night in The Guardian (London). Best coverage I’ve seen to get a sense of what this was like for the people who were there.
