Winona Bennett Cross is a resident of Southeastern Oklahoma. She is a retired Registered Nurse and began writing following a disabling fall. Writing began as journaling, then a hobby, and recently as an avocation.

Winona is married and has two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters. She remains obsessed with horses despite her age. She owns a very picky Calico cat.
