In 2006 I decided to leave the corporate world and join my husband Don in his home remodeling business. We started the business as handyman and home repairs, dispatching handymen to client homes.

When one of my clients asked me to remodel her home, I was uncertain where to begin. I didn’t think I had the knowledge of working with specialty trades, updated design trends, or the ability to pull all the timelines and sub-contractors together.

At this time, I realized all the overwhelm and uncertainty that homeowners must feel when they want to remodel their home.
