Raymond Tanza is a freelance writer who enjoys writing narrative essays as well as poetry. His recent work "The story", was published in "Across the Way:Countryside",a compilation of poetry. "Fire in the Night" is his first novel. A 34- year member of the Valley Stream volunteer fire department,he is a retired deputy sheriff with 24 years law enforcement experience. Ray has four children and 3 grandchildren and currently resides in New York.
