Sonnet of Science | Handcrafted Humanity
Science is but a bridge of time, it can,
Either take us forward or dump us in prehistory.
Science alone does not ensure our advancement,
Unless it's practiced with warmth and accountability.
Sheer reason without any sentiment is,
As dangerous as sheer sentiment without any reason.
In order to forge a world fit for humans,
We must break the ice between reason and emotion.
Problem is that we like picking sides,
Either we are too emotional or too rational.
A civilized human ought to be none of that,
A civilized human acts upon the need of the situation.
So I say o mighty human, be not an intellectual moron.
Science is a means of service, not intellectual gratification.
Either take us forward or dump us in prehistory.

Unless it's practiced with warmth and accountability.

The Motto Sonnet | Dervish Advaitam
Hard as steel and soft as flower,
That's the motto for a civilized human.
Tough as thunder, sweet as honey,
That's the motto for a braveheart human.
Not too much unguided sentiments,
Not too much intellectual coldness,
To give either of them total slack,
Is to bring destruction and lifelessness.
Corazón primero, después dinero,*
Thus speaks the human of revolution.
Humanidad primero, después verdad,**
That's the motto for the being of evolution.
Strength, warmth ‘n reason, all are needed.
And all are to be guided by oneness uncorrupted.
(*Heart first, money later. **Humanity first, truth later.)

Stagnation & Expansion (The Cognitive Sonnet) | Esperanza Impossible
There is not one but two imaginations,
One causes stagnation, another expansion.
It’s okay to have a little bit of stagnation,
But stagnation as life causes degeneration.
A stagnant mind raises cognitive defenses,
To guard the stagnation against radical ideas.
An expansive mind brings down their defenses,
To expand perception by embracing new ideas.
Stagnant minds revolting against new ideas,
Are like impressionable kids throwing tantrum.
It’s not their fault that they despise expansion,
Ascension takes a huge toll on minds in stagnation.
So when stagnant souls laugh at your expansion,
It is sign that you’re moving in the right direction.
One causes stagnation, another expansion.
It’s okay to have a little bit of stagnation,
But stagnation as life causes degeneration.

Fact is a state of matter, Truth is a state of mind | Vande Vasudhaivam
Truth and facts are not the same, because facts alone don’t make the truth. Truth requires insight, truth requires wisdom. Facts can contribute to that insight and wisdom, but access to facts doesn’t necessarily entail access to wisdom. The best example I can think of is that of love. Love is truth, whereas lust is fact. Lust may be a part of love, but it’s not the whole of love. In fact, in many cases lust is not even part of the picture. The same goes for truth and facts. Fact is a state of matter, truth is a state of mind. Matter makes the mind – sure – but to fathom the matter behind mind in its fullest intricacies will take us millennia more.

What is Truth (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | Brit Actually: Nursery Rhymes of Reparations
There is not one but two truths,
truth of facts and truth of good.
Truth of facts is worth the honor,
when it serves the truth of good.
Truth of facts thrives on logic,
an effective antidote to prejudice.
Where it sucks the sweetness of life,
truth of facts is carrier of malice.
Truth of facts is carrier of logic,
Truth of good is carrier of life.
Often times they cohabit the mind,
sometimes facts only undermine life.
Pride of truth is the good it does,
without which all facts are futile.
Truth of good is truth absolute,
absence of heart makes logic vile.
truth of facts and truth of good.
Truth of facts is worth the honor,
when it serves the truth of good.
Truth of facts thrives on logic,
an effective antidote to prejudice.
Where it sucks the sweetness of life,
