I suppose the best way to describe myself is that I am a late bloomer. There is a very good reason for this description of myself. I devoted my earlier life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother and a career as a government employee for 22 years. I retired 5 years ago, raised my twin boys and now it is my turn to find myself as a woman.

Twenty-eight years I devoted my life as a mother, nurse, therapist and advocate for my son who had spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. He passed away in 2006.

I was forced to learn very important skills in order to make sure my son received the best care he deserved. I truly believe I actually completed college and received a degree in life experienced.
