Gareth and 2 other people liked Kara Dennison's status update
Kara Dennison
Kara Dennison is 38% done with Night of the Crabs: Reading along with the 372 Pages podcast. This is certainly a pulp horror book. It is truly hard to tell whether the writer knows what he’s doing or not in terms of the silliness of tone. But it’s a step up from Ugly Love for sure.

Margery Williams Bianco
“Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.”
Margery Williams Bianco, The Velveteen Rabbit

I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control
“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
Marilyn Monroe

J.K. Rowling
“If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Stephen King
“When his life was ruined, his family killed, his farm destroyed, Job knelt down on the ground and yelled up to the heavens, "Why god? Why me?" and the thundering voice of God answered, There's just something about you that pisses me off.”
Stephen King, Storm of the Century

Stephen King
“If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.”
