Mallory Hill started writing at fourteen and has since written over 50 independent novels, one published and two self-published. In addition to writing, Mallory frequently performs in musicals at her local theatre and dabbles in painting and the odd artistic endeavor. She graduated in 2017 from Indiana University with a B.A. in anthropology and is studying for education licensure at Goshen College. She currently lives and works in her hometown in Indiana.

One day I just decided I wanted to write some stories, and that escalated into what is now 42 books (most of which are unpublished). I think it helps me to know that I don't have to share my work with anyone if I don't want to. That way it can be a more personal and enjoyable experience and I don't feel limited.(less)

I was having a tough time and missing home and struggling to figure out what to do with my life. Eventually all of that turned into Laura. Most of the setting I got from dreams. I sort of put the two together and went with it.(less)
