Monday thoughts in pictures again…
I love this reminder today. Let’s speak love and encouragement, knowing that when we do, it’s His love pouring forth. Let’s share the Gospel this week around the Thanksgiving table, at the grocery store when everyone else is stressed and mean, at Starbucks even… God’s got this, not me. Yes and amen. xoxo
These two are sisters and the best company. Two different breeds and VERY different personalities. Can you tell? xoxo
This is a fun box to open. These lovelies will be on their way to book review/bloggers next month. Hopefully to build excitement for Book Two (available 12/18/2025). Have you read it? If not, check it out. xoxo

Wednesday’s Mood
Here are two thoughts in pictures for today…
Someone does not want to sit and
this morning. The sun is out in the PNW

Let’s be bold and confident in what the Lord has called us to do today, my friends.

And if the sun is out where you are… spend some time enjoying that too.

Tuesday’s thought
I’ll be working on a couple of these today.

Especially the idea of listening more than I speak. Which fruit is that? Probably all of them.

A reminder for today
Sometimes I wonder if God will be faithful in this thing or that thing. There’s always a new thing to worry about…
Then I remember all the times He’s been faithful to me and to others. The Bible is filled with stories of just that. Why?
To remind us. Me!
He was faithful yesterday. He will be faithful today. And tomorrow.

cover reveal + a couple other things…
November 2025
I could talk about the gloominess of the month. The weather. Daylight Savings. The beautiful mess in the yard. But that’s too predictable. Instead, here are a couple of fun pictures for you.

An Echo of CourageColumbia River Saga Book Two
Can courage rise in the midst of pain?
Hope endure when healing feels far away?
The Columbia River, 1885
After a devastating accident, Pauel Oman faces constant pain and an uncertain future. Once the dependable one, he now wonders if his life holds any meaning. Yet through his sister’s stubborn care, his best friend’s sharp humor, and the steady presence of a wolf named Essa—whose calm strength feels sent from above—light and hope begin to return. Pauel learns that courage is not found in grand heroics, but in the daily choice to believe again.
Far downriver in Mud Town, Penelope dreams of a life beyond hardship. When a blue-eyed Swedish immigrant shows her a rare kindness, a fragile spark of faith awakens. But as the shadows of her past close in, she must flee upriver—sick and afraid, but never alone—guided by unexpected companions and a silent wolf with an ancient story leading her toward the man who already captured her heart.
When their paths collide on the wild banks of the Columbia River and Penny’s shadows are not far behind, will courage be enough to carry them through?
A faith-filled tale of healing, redemption, and enduring love along the mighty Columbia River.
But until then here’s a sneak peak of the cover…

The cover is everything that I wanted. Sometime I’ll tell you the story, but for now, know that my cousin is THE artist. I don’t even know how he takes my ridiculous ideas and turns them into art. He says I’m not frustrating to work with, but… I don’t believe him.
I canNOT wait to see this in print.
…
An Echo of Courage is Book Two of The Columbia River Saga—
Family forged. Cultures united. Dreams reclaimed.
Where rugged cliffs meet roaring waters, one unlikely family stakes its claim. Guided by faith and the legacy of those who came before, they must hold fast to love, hope, and each other.

…
Finally, thank you. Thank you for your support over the years, for reading my books and for encouraging me to keep writing. Many of you have been with me from the beginning. A BIG shout out to you… Thank you!
A closing thought (or just the scene running through my head at the time I write this)…
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends, and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day.
An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the age of men comes crashing down, but it is not this day!
Today we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you stand, men of the west!

Wednesday’s Thought
Do you ever think that we say this a lot but don’t actually do it?
Too busy arguing and complaining. Telling each other we’re right and they’re wrong.
Too busy speaking our own truth.
Too busy taking care of ourselves and stepping on others in the process.
Well, I’m compelled to share today that I am guilty of these things. That’s why I share verses like this- to remind myself of what’s important.
So today, friends, I’m seeking to build others up, and in doing so, I’m actually taking better care of myself.
Let’s create a world where we don’t just say it, we do it.
So, dear reader, be encouraged today. Smile. Breathe. Drink that tea or coffee and do your thing, the next thing in front of you with joy and a thankful heart and know that you are loved.

Monday
As I hit the ground running today, the Lord brought this verse to mind.
When life feels like a whirlwind, especially in my own head, it means something that I’m covered by His hand. That I keep my eyes on the One who walks with me and never leaves me.
The One who protects me from things I cannot even see. He was, is, and always will be the same. There’s comfort in that.
Do you know Him?
I pray that you do today, that you know how much you are loved.

Friday’s Encouragement

Sometimes the fear and timidity are easier to lean on/rely on. Today let’s claim the other. If you don’t feel it, (same
) just say it. Again and again. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of self talk. What we say to ourselves in our minds is very powerful.
I claim a spirit of power, love, and self discipline in Jesus name. Join me?
And, wow, those three things together??? Power without love? Power without self discipline? Self discipline without love?
Wow, God’s word is Truth.
Power. Love. Self discipline. Happy Friday.
Let’s go.

a sneak peak & a little story of the Eternal One

The wind carries whispers, the rivers hold secrets, and the forests hum with praise. God speaks through all creation- if we only listen.
A standalone story from An Echo of Courage, coming soon.
You know I love telling stories within stories. I truly hope you enjoy this one.
